BSP partnered with the estate of Marlon Brando to re-imagine the brand for one of the most iconic actors of the 20th century. Playing upon Brando’s animal magnetism and reputation as a rebel, BSP successfully aligned the Marlon Brando brand with leading companies to help increase his profile and familiarize his image to a new generation of consumers.
Thanks to BSP, a licensing agreement with Dolce & Gabbana created an opportunity for a line of T-shirts, jackets and tank tops. Italian retailer Liu Jo Jeans licensed images of the star for print ad campaign in key fashion and lifestyle magazines. Renault, the French automaker, licensed clips from Brando’s powerful performance in “On the Waterfront” for a TV campaign promoting its new Clio. Luxury watchmaker Rolex licensed an image of Brando wearing one of their watches for their Icons campaign. Matchless London created a licensed collection of leather jackets and t-shirts inspired by Brando’s iconic rebel image.
